This Division offers technical consulting and assistance in Civil Engineering for the execution of geotechnical projects, soil exploration programs, slope stability analyses, design of foundations and earth retention structures, pavement design, concrete mix design and topographic surveys. Geo-environmental issues are oriented towards research, development and application of products and methods for the solution of environmental problems, specially those related to the oil and gas industry; consulting services in the application of methodologies and adjustments in processes for the reduction of contaminant agents; environmental site assessment; industrial waste cleanup; treatment and recovery of waste oil pits; cleaning and disposal of oil debris (drilling mud, crude oil, water, etc).

This division counts on the support of the Environment Agency Unit (UGA) from the University Simon Bolivar in Caracas, for the research and development of new technologies, laboratory use and technological exchange.
